Greg Leskiw

Greg Leskiw is a Canadian musician known for his work as a guitarist and songwriter, primarily associated with the rock genre. Born on July 24, 1946, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, he gained prominence in the late 1960s and early 1970s as a member of the influential Canadian rock band The Guess Who. Leskiw joined the band in 1968, contributing to their distinctive sound during a period of significant success. His notable works with The Guess Who include tracks from the albums "Canned Wheat" (1969) and "American Woman" (1970), where his guitar work and songwriting played a crucial role in the band’s evolving style. Leskiw co-wrote the song "Share the Land," which became one of the band's signature hits.
